| The rear-quarter view of the sleek lines of the 1953 Cadillac Eldorado was advanced for its time and featured a custom-built, lowered chassis and body, a custom-built interior, and hydraulic-powered concealed convertible top. The car, owned by Mike Ventresca, of Pasadena, Calif., was one of only 533 made and was recently on display as part of the Cadillac exhibit, alongside the Cadillac Ciel concept car, at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
